RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's basketball team will travel up I-75 to Highland Heights to face Northern Kentucky on Sunday evening. Tip from BB&T Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

EKU (3-5) fell on the road at USC Upstate, 79-67, on Tuesday.
Sophomore
Tre King went 6-of-6 from the free throw line at USC Upstate and now ranks sixth in the OVC in free throw percentage on the year (86.4% / 19-of-22).
EKU recorded two four-point plays vs. USC Upstate on Tuesday (
Jomaru Brown and
Ty Taylor). The Colonels had two four-point plays all of last season.
EKU currently leads the OVC and ranks fourth in the country in steals-per-game (11.0). The Colonels rank second in the country in turnovers forced-per-game (21.8).
Eastern also leads the OVC in free throw percentage (75.3%), turnover margin (+4.5) and three-point field goal percentage defense (27.8%)

NKU (6-3) is fresh off a 76-54 win at Miami (Ohio) on Tuesday.

This is the 10th all-time meeting between EKU and NKU. The Colonels lead the series, 6-3. Eastern defeated the Norse, 76-74, on a buzzer beater by
Nick Mayo last season in Richmond.
