EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – The Eastern Kentucky basketball teams conclude their two-game OVC road trip at Southern Illinois Edwardsville on Saturday. 

The women's game tips at 3 p.m. ET.  The men's contest is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET.

Both games will air live on ESPN+.

INSIDE THE SERIES
-  SIUE leads the all-time series 8-4.
 
-  The Cougars won last year's contest, 62-60, in Richmond.

THE COLONELS
-  Eastern Kentucky lost to Eastern Illinois, 80-60, Thursday in Charleston.

-  SIU Edwardsville lost to Morehead State, 73-67, Thursday night at home.    
 
-  Allie Troeckler led the way for the Cougars with 14 points and four rebounds against Morehead State.  
 
-  Troeckler leads SIUE with 9.3 points per game this season.
 
-  Three Cougars recorded double figures against Morehead State.
 
-  SIUE ranks 13th in the country in three-point field goal defense.
                          
-  SIUE ranks 89th in the country in rebound margin.

WHAT TO KNOW
- Senior Nick Mayo scored 15 points in the loss at Eastern Illinois on Thursday, moving to No. 10 on the OVC's career points list (2,087). He is the first player to enter the top-10 since Morehead State's Ricky Minard in 2004. 

- Junior Dujuanta Weaver matched his career-high with 18 points vs. EIU on Thursday. He knocked down four three-pointers during the performance and currently ranks second in the OVC in three-pointers made/game (3.0). 

- Junior Jordan Oakley nearly had a double-double off the bench vs. EIU, scoring nine points and grabbing eight rebounds. His seven offensive boards were a career-high. 

- Freshman Houston King leads the OVC in three-point field goal percentage (46.2%). 

- EKU is now tied for the NCAA lead in steals-per-game at 11.0. 

- The Colonels also rank second in the country in the turnovers forced/game (19.4), ninth in scoring offense (85.0 points-per-game) and 13th in turnover margin (+4.3). 

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT 
- SIUE (7-14, 3-6 OVC) has won two of its last three, including an 83-76 victory over Morehead State on Thursday night. 

- Tyresse Williford paces the Cougars at 14.7 points-per-game. 

- This will be the 11th all-time meeting between EKU and SIUE. The series is tied, 5-5. The Cougars beat the Colonels, 85-82, last season in Richmond.
