RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU basketball teams will split locations on Thursday.  The men's team will play at Morehead State while the women's squad plays host to Murray State at McBrayer Arena.

For Thursday's women's game, special Valentine's Day t-shirts will be given away while supplies last.  In addition, there is a Couples Special, which includes two tickets for $5. 

The women's game tips at 5:30 p.m.  The men's contest is scheduled to begin at 7:35 p.m. in Morehead.  Both games will air live on ESPN+.

INSIDE THE SERIES
-  EKU leads the all-time series 58-32.
 
-  Murray State beat EKU 81-63 earlier this season in Murray.

-  Eastern Kentucky lost to Tennessee State, 57-31, at home on Saturday.

-  Evelyn Adebayo leads the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 18.3 points and 11.7 rebounds per game.
 
-  MSU averages 69 points per game and shoots 41 percent from the field.
 
-  The Racers turn the ball over on average 3.3 more times than their opponents.
                          
-  Murray State out-rebounds its opponents by 3.3 per game.

WHAT TO KNOW
- Freshman Jomaru Brown poured in a career-high 30 points to lead EKU to a 75-65 win over Tennessee State on Saturday. He added five rebounds and four assists. 

- Brown was voted OVC Co-Freshman of the Week on Monday after averaging 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3.5 assists-per-game last week. Brown ranks third among all freshmen in the OVC in scoring during league play (16.2 points-per-game). 

- Senior Nick Mayo has pulled down double-digit rebounds in three of his last four games. 

- EKU (11-14, 4-8 OVC) leads the NCAA in steals-per-game (10.8) 

- The Colonels also rank second in the country in turnovers forced/game (19.04), 14th in scoring offense (83.7 points-per-game) and 9th in turnover margin (+4.1). 

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT 
- Morehead State (9-16, 5-7 OVC) dropped both games last weekend to Tennessee State and Belmont. 

- The Eagles are led by Jordan Walker, who comes into Thursday averaging 16.2 points-per-game. 

- This will be the 190th all-time meeting between long-time rivals EKU and Morehead State. The Colonels lead the series, 109-80; However, Eastern's last win at Johnson Arena came on Jan. 31, 2015.
