RICHMOND, Ky. – The Colonel basketball teams will play host to Austin Peay on Thursday.

The women's game tips at 5 p.m. The men's contest is set for a 7:30 p.m. tip.  Both games will air live on ESPN+.

Thursday is Pink Out Night at the women's game.  FREE pink t-shirts will be given to fans.  The coaching staff will wear pink to raise awareness for breast cancer.  Members of the Madison County Breast Cancer Outreach Group will address the team before the game and be recognized at halftime.

It will be Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night at the men's game.

INSIDE THE SERIES
-  EKU leads the all-time series 49-33.

-  Austin Peay built a 16-point second quarter lead, but lost at home to Tennessee-Martin, 59-58, on Saturday.    
 
-  Keisha Gregory had a game-best 19 points for APSU.
 
-  Austin Peay had 14 steals against UT Martin.  
 
-  Gregory leads the team in scoring at 13.8 points per game.
 
-  Arielle Gonzalez-Varner is the team's top rebounder at 7.7 boards per game.
 
-  Austin Peay averages 69 points per game and is shooting 39 percent from the field this season.

- EKU (12-17, 5-11 OVC) is currently tied with SIUE and UT Martin in eighth place in the OVC standings. The top eight teams in the conference advance to the OVC Tournament March 6-9 in Evansville, Indiana. 

- With his 32-point, 14-rebound perfromance at Jacksonville State on Saturday, senior Nick Mayo moved past Marcus Brown, Jim McDaniels and Isaac Spencer to No. 6 on the OVC's all-time scoring list (2,258 points). He also moved past Eddie "The Machine" Bodkin to No. 6 on EKU's all-time rebounds list (816). 

- EKU has now played 10 one-possession games this season (decided by three points or less). The Colonels are 6-4 in those games. 

- The Colonels have scored 2,403 points this season, seventh-most all-time at EKU. The school record for points in a season is 2,677 (2013-14). 

- EKU leads the NCAA in total steals (304). The Colonels are 18 steals away from having the second-most ever by an EKU team in a season (322). The 1991-92 squad's single season record of 535 steals will be hard to beat! 

- The Colonels rank second in the country in turnovers forced (18.7), eighth in turnover margin (+4.1) and 18th in scoring offense (82.9 points-per-game). 

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Austin Peay (21-8, 13-3 OVC) is tied for second in the OVC with Jacksonville State. The Govs arrive in Richmond having won seven of their last eight games. 

- Terry Taylor paces APSU at 20.0 points and 8.6 rebounds-per-game. 

- This will be the 116th all-time meeting between EKU and Austin Peay. APSU leads the series, 63-52, and has won three straight over the Colonels.
