MOREHEAD, Ky. – Despite grabbing an early lead, the Eastern baseball team lost the Ohio Valley Conference series finale at Morehead State, 15-4, on Sunday.
 
The Colonels will host No. 7 Louisville at Earle Combs Stadium on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
 
Ryland Kerr scored on a wild pitch to stake EKU (11-8, 0-3 OVC) to a 1-0 first inning lead. 
 
However, the Eagles (14-5, 4-2 OVC) scored eight times in the bottom of the second inning to take control of the game.  Stephen Hill capped the big frame with a 2-out, 2-run single to center field.
 
Trailing 13-1 in the fifth, Daniel Harris IV and A.J. Lewis hit a pair of solo home runs for Eastern Kentucky.  Christian Lucio hit a solo home run, his fourth of the season, in the top of the ninth inning.
 
Harris finished 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI.  Lewis was 1-for-3 with a walk, a run and an RBI.
 
Jake Hammon went 3-for-3 with a run and an RBI for Morehead State.  Arthur Sells was 2-for-4 with three runs and four RBIs.
