RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University senior Hannah Clark was chosen as the Ohio Valley Conference Softball Player of the Week after her five game performance last week.
 
The Lakewood, California native put together an impressive week hitting .563, with two doubles, three home runs and 12 RBIs. She helped lead the team to a 3-1 weekend in the opening weekend of conference play with a pair of wins against Tennessee Tech and a split against Jacksonville State.
 
This is the first honor of the year for an EKU softball player.
 
Eastern returns to the diamond Friday for a doubleheader against conference foe UT Martin. First pitch will be at 4 p.m., with game two following 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
