RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team will host Chattanooga in its home opener on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
 
The game will be the first-ever EKU soccer game to be broadcast live on ESPN+.
 
The Colonels (0-1) fell on the road to Ohio University, 2-1, in overtime on Thursday in the regular season opener. Junior Kylie Thompson scored EKU's first goal of the season in the 68^th minute.
 
Eastern has lost only three games at home over the last three seasons, going 15-3-6 at EKU Soccer Field during that span.
 
EKU is 2-1-2 all-time vs. Chattanooga. The last time the Mocs visited Richmond, the Colonels came away with a 1-0 victory on September 16, 2016.
 
Following Sunday's game, EKU will travel to Michigan to face Oakland University on Thursday night, August 29. First touch is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
