RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team will travel to Oakland University for a Thursday night game, before returning home to host Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon.
 
WHAT TO KNOW
 
The Colonels will square off against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies in Rochester, Michigan on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
 
First touch for the Sunday home game vs. Milwaukee is scheduled for 1 p.m.
 
Both games will stream live on ESPN+ this week.
 
EKU (0-2) dropped its home opener to Chattanooga, 1-0, last Sunday. The Colonels outshot the Mocs, 16-6, in the defeat.
 
Junior Kylie Thompson scored the Colonels' first goal of 2019 in the season opener vs. Ohio last Thursday. Thompson led Eastern with four shots, three of which were on frame, last week.
 
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
 
Oakland is 1-0-1 after defeating Valparaiso, 1-0, on the road last Sunday. Alexa Sabbagh scored the game-winner to lift the Golden Grizzlies in that game.
 
Milwaukee is 2-0 after opening the season with wins over Depaul and Northern Illinois. Haley Johnson paces the Panthers with two goals and one assist.
 
This is the first time EKU has ever played Oakland or Milwaukee.
