JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's and women's basketball teams open another Ohio Valley Conference road trip at Jacksonville State on Saturday night.
The doubleheader at Pete Mathews Coliseum opens with the women's game at 6:15 p.m. ET. The men's game follows at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Jomaru Brown poured in 37 points in the Colonels' 92-88 road victory at Tennessee State last Saturday in Nashville. It was the Colonels' first road win and the Tigers' first home loss of the season.

Brown went 18-of-19 from the free throw line against TSU. His 18 free throws are the most by any OVC player this season and the second most by any player in the country this season.

Brown was voted the OVC Player of the Week on Monday. He averaged 31 points, 5.5 rebounds 4 assists-per-game over EKU's Nashville road swing last week.

Brown now leads the OVC in scoring during conference play (22.3 points-per-game).

Michael Moreno scored a career-high 15 points in the win over Tennessee State. He also grabbed a team-best seven rebounds to go along with three assists.
