RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's women's basketball team travels to take on in-state rival Morehead State University on Friday, before hosting the Eagles on Monday night at McBrayer Arena.

-  Morehead State comes into the contest, 0-1, after falling to Dayton, 71-57, at home in Morehead on Nov. 25.
 
-  Gabby Crawford was named OVC Newcomer of the Week on Dec. 1 after she posted 17 points and 12 rebounds against Dayton.  
 
-  Lai'Janique Perry-Ellis posted a team-best 19 points against the Flyers.  
 
-  The Eagles scored 32 points in the paint.
