RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky football redshirt sophomore quarterback Parker McKinney and redshirt freshman kicker Patrick Nations received ASUN weekly honors for their performances in the Colonels' victory over Abilene Christian, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

McKinney earned the first conference weekly honor of his career, while Nations picked up his third ASUN Special Teams Player of the Week honor this season.

McKinney accounted for 300 yards and three touchdowns in EKU's 30-15 win over the Wildcats. He threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns while adding another touchdown on the ground and a career-high 98 yards rushing. McKinney has run for a touchdown in each of Eastern Kentucky's last three games and has thrown for six scores this season.

Nations converted three field goals in the win over ACU, besting his career high of two from the previous week. He also made both extra point attempts to finish with 12 points on the night. He has made 77.8 percent of his field-goal attempts this season and leads the ASUN in field-goal percentage.

The duo's accolades mark the ninth and 10th weekly ASUN honors for the Colonels this season. Additionally, this is the fourth week that EKU has won multiple ASUN awards.

The Colonels travel to Central Arkansas on Saturday for a 5:00 p.m. contest.
