EKU Soccer Continues Four-Game Homestand This Weekend Against North Alabama And Lipscomb

RICHMOND, Ky. –
The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team continues its four-game homestand this weekend when the Colonels welcome in North Alabama and Lipscomb.
 
The Colonels take on North Alabama on Thursday at 4 p.m. and Lipscomb on Sunday at 1 p.m.

WHAT TO KNOW
 
EKU enters the week 5-7 (1-3 ASUN) after splitting a pair of matches last weekend against Jacksonville and North Florida.
 
Audrey Anderson scored both goals in the 2-0 win over the Dolphins last week. Anderson's three goals leads the team.
 
Freshman goalkeeper Sabrina Hinz made her first two career starts last week and pitched a shutout in her first career start against Jacksonville with four saves.
 
Michaela Iacono leads the team with eight points. She has two goals and four assists.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
 
North Alabama comes into the week at 2-9-2 (1-3 ASUN) after splitting a pair of matches last week against Stetson and Florida Gulf Coast.
 
Kate Wiseman leads the offense charge for the Lions with five points on the season. Wiseman has one goal and three assists.
 
Payton Yates is the top goalkeeper for UNA. Yates has 63 saves on the year.
 
Lipscomb comes in at 8-3-1 (3-1 ASUN) and winners of its last three after defeating Liberty and Kennesaw State last week.
 
The Bison are led offensively by Cami Rogers who has a team-best four goals and three assists on the season.
 
CJ Graham has started every game in goal for Lipscomb. Graham has 46 saves on the year and averaging letting up less than one goal a match.

Eastern Kentucky hits the road for an important road swing next weekend against Central Arkansas and Jacksonville State. The Colonels take on Central Arkansas next Thursday at 8 p.m.
