Kayra Freeman was perfect from the field in her first collegiate game. Freeman went 4-for-4 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free throw line to post a team-best 11 points off the bench. Â Â

Kalissa Lacy chipped in 10 points, knocking down two three-pointers off the bench in her first collegiate game.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-Â Northern Kentucky opened the season with a loss to Kent State, 80-73, on Wednesday night at BB&T Arena.

-Â NKU was led by Lindsey Duvall who posted a game-high 27 points on the contest. Duvall was 9-for-17 from the field and 4-for-7 from the three-point line. Â Â

-Â Grayson Rose and Ivy Turner each chipped in double-digit points in the contest against Kent State. Â Â
-Â The Norse shot 46 percent from the three-point line in the game.
