- This is the first ever meeting between the two teams.
 
THE COLONELS
-  The Colonels (1-2) fell on the road Monday night against Evansville, 67-57, at the Ford Center.
 
-  Jayla Johnson led the way offensively for the Colonels posting a team-best 14 points and six rebounds.   
 
-  Ariel Kirkwood continues to do a little bit of everything for EKU. Kirkwood posted nine points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks against Evansville.
 
-  Kirkwood ranks first in the conference in blocked shots and blocked shots per game. She ranks fifth in the league in rebounding.  
 
-  The Colonels rank 13th in the country in offensive rebounding.
 
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Union comes into the Monday tilt with a record of 3-2 and a game on Saturday against Point.   
 
-  Brooke Hammonds led the way for the Bulldogs against Brenau posting a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.    
 
-  Raigan King chipped in 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench.
 
-  The Bulldogs out-rebounded Brenau 48-35 on the contest.
