RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's women's basketball team continues its three-game road swing on Wednesday night and Thursday night against in-state competition.
 
The Colonels take on in-state rival Morehead State on Wednesday night at 5 p.m. before traveling to take on nationally ranked Louisville on Thursday night at 8 p.m.

INSIDE THE SERIES
- This is the 102nd all-time meeting between EKU and Morehead State. EKU has won the last four in the series.

THE COLONELS
-  The Colonels (3-5) fell on the road at Miami (OH), 80-62, on Sunday afternoon in Oxford.
 
-  Brie Crittendon and Bridgid Fox were sparks off the bench against the RedHawks. Crittendon had 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Fox had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Colonels.
 
-  Jayla Johnson led the way for the Colonels with 12 points and five rebounds against Miami (OH). Johnson is averaging a team-best 15.4 points per game on the season.  
 
-  Alice Recanati ranks first in the conference in steals per game and second in steals in the ASUN.
 
-  The Colonels rank 17th in the country in offensive rebounding.
 
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
-  Morehead State comes into the contest at 1-6 and losers of its last four games after losing to Evansville, 79-49, on Saturday.
 
-  Terri Smith leads the way for the Eagles with 10.4 points per game on the season. Smith has a team-best 12 assists on the year.       
 
-  Louisville comes into the week at 8-1 and winners of its last eight games after knocking off nationally ranked Kentucky on Sunday.
 
-  The Cardinals are led offensively by Kianna Smith and Hailey Van Lith. Smith is averaging a team-best 11.2 points per game on the season. Van Lith is chipping in 10.6 points per game on the year.

Eastern Kentucky returns home on Saturday to take on the University of Pikeville at McBrayer Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
