RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky sophomore defensive back Davion Ross was named to the Stats Perform FCS All-America Team, which was released on Monday.

Ross was a third-team selection and the lone ASUN defensive player to earn a spot on the team. Ross was named a HERO Sports FCS All-American last week, along with Payton Collins and Patrick Nations.

The ASUN Defensive Player of the Year, Ross established himself as one of the league's top corners in a breakout sophomore campaign. The Perry, Georgia native led the nation with three interception returns for touchdowns and tied for sixth nationally with 13 pass breakups. He also recorded 46 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery, while ranking 13th in the nation with a 27.5 yard kickoff return average.

Ross was one of three ASUN student-athletes to be recognized by Stats Perform on their All-America teams, joining Central Arkansas wide receiver Tyler Hudson and running back Darius Hale.
