RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University women's and men's basketball teams will host Belmont in an Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader on Thursday at McBrayer Arena. The women tip at 5 p.m. ET, followed by the men at 8 p.m. ET.

Both games will air live on ESPN+.

Thursday's games are Pink Games in honor of breast cancer awareness. Pink Game t-shirts will be given to students while supplies last.

-  Belmont comes into the contest at 15-5 (12-3 OVC), and winners of its last three, after knocking off Tennessee Tech, 77-56, Tuesday in Cookeville.
 
-  Conley Chinn led the way for the Bruins with a game-high 22 points and six rebounds against the Golden Eagles.
 
-  Destinee Wells chipped in 19 points, three rebounds and four assists.

WHAT TO KNOW
 
EKU (19-6, 13-5 OVC) sits in third place after an 87-65 win at Southeast Missouri on Monday. The win capped a seven-game road trip for the Colonels.
 
EKU shot a season-best 60.9% (14-of-23) from three-point range in the victory at Southeast Missouri on Monday.
 
Sophomore Michael Moreno now leads the OVC in three-point field goal percentage (49.6%). He is shooting 53.8% from beyond the arc during OVC play.
 
EKU's 13 OVC wins are tied for the most in program history. Fourteen conference wins would give the 2020-21 Colonels the out-right record.
 
Redshirt freshman Curt Lewis was voted the OVC Co-Freshman of the Week for the second time on Monday. Lewis ranks fourth among OVC freshmen in scoring (10.9), second in rebounding (5.2), second in field goal percentage (52.6%) and second in steals (1.4).
 
Eastern ranks in the top-25 in the NCAA in 10 categories - including 1st in steals-per-game (10.7), 3rd in turnover margin (+6.3), 3rd in turnovers forced-per-game (19.5), 10th in scoring (82.7) and 15th in three-pointers-per-game (10.0).
 
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
 
Belmont's (24-1, 18-0 OVC) lone loss of the season came all the way back on December 5, a 96-83 defeat at the hands of Samford. The Bruins most recently defeated Tennessee Tech, 90-66, on Saturday in Nashville.
 
Nick Muszynski paces the Bruins offensively, averaging 15.2 points and 5.5 rebounds-per-game.
 
This is the 23rd all-time meeting between EKU and Belmont. The Bruins lead the series, 17-5, and have won 11 straight over the Colonels.
