RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team will host rival Morehead State on Friday afternoon. First touch from EKU Soccer Field is scheduled for 3 p.m.
WHAT TO KNOW
EKU (0-2-0) led preseason Ohio Valley Conference favorite Murray State on the road with 10 minutes remaining in regulation last Friday; however, the Racers scored two goals in a span of seven minutes to rally for the late victory.

Audrey Anderson collected her fourth career score in Murray. Sophomore
Michaela Iacono was credited with her first career assist on the play.
Shaffer was voted the OVC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. The all-conference center back scored a goal versus SIUE and then recorded the assist at Murray State.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Morehead State (0-3-0) fell to Tennessee Tech, 1-0, at home on Tuesday.
Colleen Swift scored the Eagles' lone goal of the season in their season opener against Murray State on March 2.
This is the 17
th all-time meeting between EKU and Morehead State. The Eagles lead the series, 8-5-3; however, the Colonels are 3-0-1 in the last four meetings against their rivals.
