RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University soccer team will go for its third straight win when the Colonels host Belmont in their final home match of the season on Tuesday.
First touch from EKU Soccer Field is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

WHAT TO KNOW
EKU (3-4-0) handed Southeast Missouri its first loss of the season on Saturday, defeating the Redhawks 2-1 on Senior Day in Richmond.
After falling behind 1-0 early, sophomore
Maddy Lemery equalized with her first collegiate goal in the 28
th minute. Fellow sophomore
Ali Kirk played a long ball ahead to Lemery for the assist.

Katie Shaffer headed in the game winner in the 65
th minute off a free kick from senior
Taran McMillan.
Senior goalkeeper
Billie Clark made six saves in the win over SEMO. The only goal she surrendered came on a penalty spot in the fifth minute.
Shaffer was voted the OVC Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time in her career on Sunday. She has now earned that honor more times than any player in EKU soccer history.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Belmont (4-3-0) has earned three straight shutout wins.
This is the ninth all-time meeting between EKU and Belmont. EKU leads the series, 3-2-3. The two teams played to a scoreless draw last season.
