DELAND, Fla. – The Eastern Kentucky men's basketball team will wrap up its two-game road trip to Florida on Saturday at Stetson in DeLand.
 
The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. ET and will air live on ESPN+.  The live radio broadcast of the game is available in the Richmond area on WCYO 100.7 FM, and can be heard worldwide on EKUSports.com.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
-  This is the second-ever meeting between the two programs.
 
-  The only other meeting came on Dec. 19, 1986 with Stetson winning 88-68 at the Hawaiian Tropic Classic in Daytona Beach, Florida.
 
THE COLONELS
-  Eastern Kentucky is 10-11 and to 2-5 in the ASUN Conference after falling at Florida Gulf Coast, 77-72, on Thursday.
 
-  Jomaru Brown led the team with 20 points against FGCU.
 
-  Curt Lewis pulled down a team-best 12 rebounds against the Eagles.
 
-  Eastern Kentucky leads the ASUN in scoring at 80.29 points per game this season, but Stetson has only given up 68.8 points to its opponents.
 
-  The Colonels are 7-1 this season, and 40-11 under A.W. Hamilton, when scoring 80 or more points in a game.
 
-  Three Colonels rank among the top-10 in blocked shots in the ASUN.  Jannson Williams (1.63) is second, Tariq Balogun (1.47) is fourth and Michael Wardy (0.88) is 10th.
 
-  After holding Florida Gulf Coast to 28.6 percent (8-for-28) shooting from 3-point range, Eastern Kentucky now leads the conference in 3-point shooting percentage defense at 30.3 percent.  FGCU came into the game hitting on 35.8 percent of its attempts from long range.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Stetson is 8-12 this season and sitting at 2-5 in the ASUN Conference.  The Hatters beat North Alabama, 67-65, on the road on Saturday but lost at home to Bellarmine, 72-47, on Thursday.   
 
-  Despite the team's record, Stetson has only been out-scored by 1.8 points per game this year.  The Hatters average 67 and allow 68.8 points per contest.
 
-  Stetson is hitting on 43 percent of its shots while its opponents have made 45 percent.  The Hatters have out-rebounded their foes by 2.3 per game.
 
-  Rob Perry leads the team in scoring at 15.9 points per game, but hasn't played since Jan. 8.  Chase Johnston has played in all 20 games and is second on the team with 12. 7 points per game.  He has hit 40 percent of his shots from the field and has a team-best 63 three-pointers.
 
-  Mahamadou Diawara is Stetson's top rebounder (5.8 rpg) and Stephan Swenson averages a team-high 4.9 assists per game.
 
-  Johnston led the Hatters with 13 points on 5-of-16 shooting against Bellarmine.  Mahamadou pulled down 10 rebounds and scored three points.  Stetson made just 28 percent (15-of-53) of its shots from the field while Bellarmine knocked down 57 percent.
