Eastern Kentucky University's women's basketball team hits the road for the first time in ASUN play on Saturday to take on Bellarmine University.
 
Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.

- This is the first meeting between the two teams since 1986.
 
- The Colonels lead the all-time series between the two teams, 5-2.

THE COLONELS
-  The Colonels (8-6, 1-0 ASUN) come into the contest winners of their last four games after knocking off Central Arkansas, 61-46, on Wednesday night at McBrayer Arena.
 
-  Jayla Johnson and Alice Recanati led the way for the Colonels offensively against the Sugar Bears. Johnson posted a game-high 19 points and three rebounds against UCA. Recanati chipped in 13 points and five assists.
 
-  Johnson ranks fifth in the league in scoring averaging a team-best 15.0 points per game.    
 
-  Recanati ranks first in the conference in steals and second in the ASUN in steals per game. Recanati ranks 38th in the country in steals.
 
-  The Colonels rank 18th in the country in steals per game and 38th in overall steals.
 
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
-  Bellarmine comes into the weekend at (3-9, 0-1 ASUN) after falling to Jacksonville State, 72-63, on Wednesday night in Jacksonville.
 
-  The shorthanded Knights were led offensively by Presley Brown who posted a game-best 22 points and eight rebounds against Jacksonville State.  
 
-  Jaela Johnson is averaging a team-best 14.3 points per game on the season.
 
-  Sheniqua Coatney ranks 12th in the ASUN in rebounding, pulling down 5.8 rebounds per game on the year.
