KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State scored two goals three minutes before the halftime break, keeping the Colonels scoreless in the final 50 minutes of regulation to defeat EKU 2-0 on Thursday night at the Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
With the loss, Eastern Kentucky moves to 7-5-2 overall and 3-3-2 in the ASUN Conference with two more regular season matches remaining.
Despite the loss, EKU led the match in shots (18-13), shots on goal (10-4), and only committed five fouls to KSU's nine.

Maddy Lemery led the Colonels in shots for the fifth straight contest, unable to find the back of the net in Thursday's match after attempting five shots with three on target.
Kennesaw State scored goals in the 42nd and 44th minute with the help of Erin Miller and Tianna Rivera.

Kaitlyn Rowlett, and Lemery, all saved by the Owls' keeper Allanah Blye who ended the contest with 10 saves.
