NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The men's basketball team will travel to Nashville to face Lipscomb on Saturday.

INSIDE THE SERIES
-  EKU leads the series 1-0 over Lipscomb.
 
-  The first-ever meeting between the two programs was earlier this season when the Colonels beat the Bisons, 86-72, in Richmond on Jan. 18.
 
THE COLONELS
-  Eastern Kentucky is 11-14 and 3-8 in league play after falling at Jacksonville, 81-68, on Wednesday.
 
-  Curt Lewis and Cooper Robb each finished with 14 points against Jacksonville.  Lewis also had nine rebounds and three steals.
 
-  Four Colonels rank in the top-10 in the ASUN in steals.  Jomaru Brown (1.74) leads the conference, Cooper Robb (1.64) is second, Michael Moreno (1.36) is tied for fifth and Lewis (1.30) is tied for ninth.
 
-  Eastern Kentucky had a season-low three turnovers at Jacksonville.  The previous low of seven was set twice, at USC (Dec. 7) and against Lipscomb (Jan. 18).
 
-  The Colonels lead the nation in steals (269), are fourth in steals per game (10.76/game), third in turnover margin (+6.16) and fourth in turnovers forced (18.12).
 
-  Eastern Kentucky is first in the ASUN, and 24th in the country, with an average of 12.80 offensive rebounds per game.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Lipscomb is 10-16 this season and 3-8 against ASUN teams.  The Bisons have lost three straight and four of their last five.   
 
-  Lipscomb lost on the road at Liberty on Tuesday, 78-69.  Ahsan Asadullah led the way with 16 points, 11 rebounds and six assists.  He hit 7-of-13 from the field.  The Bisons allowed the Flames to hit 17-of-35 from 3-point range for 49 percent.
 
-  Asadullah is the team's leading scorer (15.5 ppg), rebounder (9.0 rpg) and assists leader (4.1 apg).  The 6-foot-9, 275-pound junior center has shot 51 percent from the field this season.  Asadullah has been chosen as the ASUN Player of the Week three times.  Jacob Ognacevic, a 6-foot-7, 220-pound freshman forward is contributing 13.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.  Will Pruitt, a 6-foot-3 freshman guard, is averaging 9.5 points and 5.4 boards per game.
 
-  As a team, Lipscomb averages 75 points and has allowed 79 per game this season.  The Bisons are hitting on 47 percent of their shots from the field, fourth-best in the conference, while allowing opponents to shoot 44 percent.  Lipscomb is committing 4.0 more turnovers per game than its opponents, 12th in the ASUN, and allowing 7.6 steals per contest.
