FLORENCE, Ala. – Eastern Kentucky lost the series finale to North Alabama, 10-1, on Sunday.

The Colonels (13-8, 2-1 ASUN) won the first two games of the set and have won four straight weekend series.

The Lions (6-12, 1-2 ASUN) broke open a scoreless game by pushing across four runs in the bottom of the fifth on five straight hits with two outs in the inning. Devne Daniel had an RBI double.

Rian Yates started for EKU and allowed two runs on five hits over four and two-thirds innings. He did not walk a batter and struck out four.

The Colonels got on the board in the top of the seventh on a two-out RBI single to right field from
Jalen Jones. The junior second baseman finished 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Drew Hudson went 3-for-5 with three RBIs for North Alabama. UNA starter Jacob James (2-0) allowed three hits and one run over six innings. He walked two and struck out nine.
