Will King had three hits each, as the Colonels beat Northern Kentucky, 6-2, on Tuesday at Earle Combs Stadium.

The Norse got one back in the second on an RBI single from Brandon Tucker. Williams drove in a run with a ground out for Eastern Kentucky in the bottom of the fourth to make it a 3-1 game.
EKU starter
Isaac Milburn (1-1) earned his first collegiate win. The freshman scattered five hits over five innings, allowed one run, walked two and struck out five.
Leading 4-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Ludwick drove in his third run of the game on a fielder's choice. He scored later in the inning on Goehrig's third hit of the game, a single to right to make it 6-2.
Ludwick finished 1-for-3 with a run and three driven in. Goehrig went 3-for-4 with an RBI. King had a 3-for-3 day with a run and an RBI. Thomason walked twice and scored two runs.
Bryce Travis pitched a perfect ninth inning with two strikeouts.
Tucker was 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI for Northern Kentucky (6-12).
The Colonels will host new ASUN Conference rival Bellarmine this weekend for a three-game series. Friday's series opener is set for 5 p.m.
Friday will be Spirit Day at the ballpark. Fans can meet and take pictures with the EKU cheerleaders, dance team and mascot from 4:30 p.m. through the fifth inning. Foul Ball Trade In returns on Saturday. Fans can trade in foul balls for a chance to spin the EKU Prize Wheel. Bark in the Park, originally scheduled for Saturday will now be on April 15. Sunday includes Kids Day, a postgame autograph session and the first of three trading card giveaways. Kids 12 and under will receive FREE admission and get the chance to run the bases after the game.
