RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University softball team welcomes in Stetson University for a three-game conference series starting on Saturday.  
 
The Colonels open the series against the Hatters on Saturday with a doubleheader. First-pitch for game one is scheduled for 1 p.m. with game two scheduled for 3:30 p.m. The teams wrap up the series on Sunday with a 1 p.m. first pitch.

- Stetson comes into the weekend at 14-20 and 4-2 in the ASUN after taking two of three in the series against Bellarmine last weekend.  
 
-This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams.
 
-Danielle Diaz leads the way offensively for the Hatters with a team-high .337 batting average on the year. Diaz has three doubles, one home run and 17 RBIs on the season.
 
-In the circle for the Hatters, Lauren Hobbs leads the way with a 5-6 record. Hobbs has thrown a team-best 79 and two-third innings with 51 strikeouts. She has a team-best 2.37 ERA on the year.
 
What EKU Brings:
-EKU comes into the weekend at 5-24 and 1-5 in the ASUN after winning one of three against Jacksonville over the weekend.
 
-Sammi Miller leads the way offensively for the Colonels with a team-best .367 batting average on the year. Miller has two doubles, one triple, one home run, 11 RBIs, and a team-best 10 stolen bases on the year.  
 
-Jasmine Miller hit two home runs over the weekend, tying her for the team-best four on the season.
 
-Lauren Narvaez comes into the weekend at 2-2 on the season with a team-best 2.88 ERA. Narvaez has 17 strikeouts over 48 and two-third innings.
