RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University softball team is set to host national ranked University of Kentucky on Wednesday night at Gertrude Hood Field.

First-pitch against the Wildcats is scheduled for 6 p.m. You can follow along with live stats or catch the game on ESPN+.
It will be beach night at the game. There will be in game beach themed music, tank top giveaway for the first 150 students in the gates and EKU Koozie giveaway while supplies last.

-The Wildcats are led offensively by Erin Coffel how has a team-best .441 batting average on the season. Coffel has seven doubles, 14 home runs and 51 RBIs. Â

-EKU comes into the weekend at 7-31 and 3-12 in the ASUN after falling in a three-game series to Central Arkansas over the weekend at home.

Sammi Miller leads the way offensively for the Colonels with a team-best .362 batting average on the year. Miller has three doubles, one triple, one home run, 12 RBIs, and a team-best 14 stolen bases on the year. Â

Lauren Narvaez comes into the weekend at 3-5 on the season with a team-best 2.68 ERA. Narvaez is second on the team with 75 and two-third innings pitched.
