RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University softball team hits the road for a three-game series against Bellarmine this weekend.

The two teams play a doubleheader on Saturday, followed by a single game on Sunday. First-pitch on Saturday is scheduled for 1 p.m. with game two following 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The series finale on Sunday is scheduled for noon.

- Bellarmine comes into the weekend at 10-32, 1-14 in the ASUN and losers of its last six games after getting swept by North Alabama last weekend on the road.

-This will be the third all-time between the two teams with each team winning one game. This is the first meeting in the series since 1993.

-The Knights are led offensively by Hannah Webb who has a team-best .299 batting average on the season. Webb has 12 doubles, 2 home runs and 15 RBIs. Â

-Claire Lehmkuhler leads the way in the circle for Bellarmine. Lehmkuler is 5-14 on the season with a 4.39 ERA. She has 45 strikeouts over 95 and two-third innings. Â

-EKU comes into the weekend at 7-32 and 3-12 in the ASUN after nearly knocking off No. 12 ranked Kentucky on Wednesday night falling, 10-7.

Sammi Miller leads the way offensively for the Colonels with a team-best .361 batting average on the year. Miller has three doubles, one triple, one home run, 12 RBIs, and a team-best 15 stolen bases on the year. Â

-The Colonels busted out 10 hits against Kentucky on Wednesday night.
