Maroon & White Game Set For Saturday Afternoon

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky football team will wrap up its spring practice with the annual Maroon & White Game on Saturday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m. at Roy Kidd Stadium. Admission to the game is free for all fans. The Colonels will be split into two teams and will play four 12-minute quarters. The clock will run continuously in the second half.  

The Alumni Coliseum parking lot will be open for tailgaters and student tailgates as normal on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. The parking lot will also be shared for the All A Baseball classic on campus. The Moberly Lot will also be open for Colonel Club, WCC, alumni, and fans to park and tailgate. There will be no charge for parking or tailgating for the spring game. EKU and the city of Richmond have partnered to host a Town and Gown Tailgate within the Colonel Courtyard space located between the Alumni Coliseum lots and Roy Kidd Stadium. Food trucks and fun activities will be open to the public beginning at 11:00 a.m. 

All general seating will be open to the public and concessions will have one booth open on each side of the stadium. Fans are encouraged to visit the open boxes to check out EKU's new experience and amenities with box seats in 2022. Contact Raymond White at raymond.white@eku.edu or 859-622-2122 for more information or to purchase.

The new Colonel Kids Zone, which was introduced in 2021, will be open inside Roy Kidd Stadium in the grass area behind the cannon during the game. For more information on the Colonel Kids Club, visit this link.

EKU will host its inaugural Suits for Seniors social on Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. The event will feature dinner, a silent auction, a 10K reverse raffle, and comments from head coach Walt Wells. Tickets for the event may be purchased here.

RV spots are available to reserve through the EKU Ticket Office by calling 859-622-2122 or emailing Raymond White at raymond.white@eku.edu. You may also use this link to reserve online. There will be no charge for RV spots for the Spring Game, but a reservation is necessary. If your set up requires power, we advise that you bring a generator for power.

The 2022 Spring Game weekend also coincides with the Installation of University President, Dr. David McFaddin. Information regarding the President's Installation can be found here: eku.edu/installation.

To close out Saturday, EKU Center for the Arts will be hosting a concert featuring JP Saxe at 7:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and tickets can be purchased here.

2022 EKU football season tickets can be purchased here. Season tickets start as low as just $49 for every home regular season game. Limited premium seats are also available and can be purchased by contacting the ticket office at 859-622-2122, or by email to raymond.white@eku.edu.
