COLUMBUS, Ga. – The EKU tennis programs will play in their first tournament since 2018 at the Universal Tennis College Circuit on Friday, Sept. 16, and Saturday, Sept. 17. The women's team won the OVC Championship, while the men's team lost in the semifinals in 2018. The Colonels are led by head coach
Adam Cohen and assistant coach
Noel Maurin.
"There's always something special about that first tournament of the year," said Cohen. "I know we will see some high-level competitive tennis."
The men's team is led by junior
J.Anurag Reddy, who transferred to EKU from McKendree University. Reddy is coming off a strong season with a 24-6 record in singles and a 6-5 record in doubles last season.
The women's team is led by senior
Delara Zamani, who previously played at UT Tyler and Washington. Zamani has a career 18-15 singles record and a 28-14 doubles record.
