RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky men's tennis team is playing in the inaugural Colonel Invite at the Greg Adams Tennis Center on Friday and Saturday (Sept. 23-24). This will be the first home match for the Colonels since 2018.

"Our team is excited to get out and play in front of our fans," said head coach Adam Cohen. "Our players are working hard every day to be a program everyone enjoys watching! We want our fans to come out, have a GREAT time, and get LOUD!"

Moritz Mayer and Kristoffer Stahlbrand lead the Maroon and White as they were the runners-up in the men's doubles tournament at the Universal Tennis College Circuit. Mayer also led the charge for singles, reaching the semifinals in the singles tournament last weekend.

Besides EKU, the field is comprised of Asbury, Centre, Midway, and Thomas More.

Doubles matches will start at 9:00 am on both days. Singles matches will begin around 1:00 pm on Friday and around 12:30 pm on Saturday.
