RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky men's tennis team played in the inaugural Colonel Invite on Friday and Saturday. Moritz Mayer and Kristoffer Stahlbrand won the doubles championship against Asbury (6-3). In addition, Moritz Mayer, J.Anurag Reddy, Kristoffer Stahlbrand, and Zach White all earned a singles championship. Reddy, Stahlbrand, and White won their championship matches by default.
 
"It was great, what a better way to start with great competition," said head coach Adam Cohen. "The fans that came out pushed our guys through it. It was awesome and these guys are super happy. We got a long way to go, but we're going to get there."
