LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky soccer begins a three-match ASUN Conference road swing on Sunday, September 24 against in-state foe Bellarmine at the Owlsey B. Frazier Stadium.
Sunday's match against Bellarmine (0-3-6) is slated to kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET and can be viewed on
ESPN+.
Eastern Kentucky (5-2-1) enters Sunday's contest earning positive results in its last five matches with a record of 4-0-1. The Colonels picked up four points in the first two ASUN matches, defeating Central Arkansas and tying with North Alabama.
Senior forward
Maddy Lemery leads EKU in goals (3) heading into tomorrow's clash, the Lake Mary, Fla. native has led the Colonels in shots and shots on frame in the last three matches.
EKU notched its season-high total in points against Central Arkansas (9) behind goals from Lemery,
Kylie Fitzgerald, and an own-goal 14 seconds into the match. Both of the goals Eastern Kentucky netted were assisted by
Myla Sharpless,
Ali Kirk, and
Gretta Gunn.
