About Our Nationally-Ranked Program:
We are looking for well-rounded athletes to represent Eastern Kentucky University at athletic events, at on-campus and off-campus appearances, and competitively. Our program has two competitive cheerleading teams (Small Coed and All-Girl).
National Championships:

2021 (Virtual)
	- All Girl D1 Division
- Small Coed D1 Division
Small Coed Responsibilities:
	- Home & Away Football Games
- Men & Women's Basketball Games
- Compete at UCA College Nationals in D1 Small Coed Division
- Various Appearances
- Team Workouts: 2-3 days a week
- Study Hall Hours – You will be required to complete hours in Study Hall.
Weekly Practice Schedule *could change*
	- Monday/Wednesday - 7:00 - 9:00
- Sunday - 6:00 - 8:00
All-Girl Responsibilities:
	- Home & Away Football Games
- Men & Women's Basketball Games
- Compete at UCA College Nationals in D1 All-Girl Division
- Various Appearances
	- Team Workouts: 2-3 days a week
- Study Hall Hours – You will be required to complete hours in Study Hall.
Weekly Practice Schedule *could change*
	- Tuesday/Wednesday - 5:30 - 7:30
- Friday - 3:45 - 5:45
Program Requirements:
	- TRYOUTS: Our tryouts are typically open, you don't need any invitation to try out for our program. You must attend one clinic before that year of tryouts.
- AMBASSADORS: You must be able to represent Eastern Kentucky University in a positive manner at all times! Being an ambassador for our university comes with a lot of responsibility and sacrifice.
- GAMEDAY: We will have a variety of athletic events that we attend throughout the year. It will consist of football and basketball games. You MUST be able to represent us well on game day! This means voice, smile, proper motion placement, and sharpness.
- STUNTING: Having experience in all-girl and coed-style stunting is necessary to continue the success of our program.
	
		- COED EXAMPLES: TOSS EXTENSION, TOSS LIB, TOSS CUPIE, TIC TOCS, FULL-UP VARIATIONS, HAND IN HANDS, REWINDS, BACK HANDSPRINGS, FRONT HANDSPRINGS.
- ALL-GIRL EXAMPLES: QUICK TOSS, TOSS LIB, FULL UP VARIATIONS, HAND IN HANDS, REWINDS, BACK HANDSPRINGS, FRONT HANDSPRINGS.
 
- TUMBLING: We prefer you to have standing and running tumbling through to full. This can change based on the needs of the teams.
Other Benefits:
	- EKU Apparel (Backpacks, uniforms, practice shirts & shorts, warmups, etc. - this can change from year to year)
- Access to weight rooms with our own strength and conditioning coaches
- We fundraise to travel throughout the year for games & competitions.
- Scholarships: Everyone in our program receives some type of scholarship. Amounts depend on GPA, skill level, years in the program, and financial need.
