The Colonels (5-8-5, 4-3-4 ASUN) enter the tournament with a 1-0 win over Bellarmine last Saturday. The win marked the first in program history against the in-state foe and moved EKU to four conference wins which tied the program record as a member institution in the league.
EKU and Queens met earlier this season and played to a nil-nil draw. Offensively, forward
Jami Anderson led the Colonels with what was a season-high six shots, three on target, leading the Colonels to a wide 14-6 shot advantage over the Royals.
With a win over Queens, EKU would move on to the quarterfinals round to face host school North Alabama on Sunday, Oct. 29.
