RICHMOND, Ky. - The United Athletic Conference has announced the official league schedule for the 2024 season, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
The 2024 season will be Eastern Kentucky's second season as a founding member of the conference with the season marking the first with the new eight conference game format.
The Colonels kick off UAC play at home on Saturday, Sept. 14 against conference and Division I newcomer in the West Georgia Wolves who will be in their first season at the Division I level, coming up from the ranks of Division II.
Two weeks later, EKU will head to the Lone Star state for the first of three times in 2024, taking on the Lumberjacks of Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches on Sept. 28.
After a three-week break from conference action, the Colonels will return UAC play on the road against rival on Oct. 19 Austin Peay in Clarksville, Tenn.
The Colonels then return home to Roy Kidd Stadium for their third home conference game on Oct. 26, as they face Southern Utah.
EKU then returns to Texas on Nov. 2 to face the Tarlton State Texans in Stephenville before returning to Richmond next Saturday to face North Alabama on Nov. 9.
In their final trip to Texas the Colonels will take on the Wildcats of Abilene Christian on Nov. 16, and then close out the conference and regular season slate at home on Nov. 23 against Central Arkansas.
EKU Fans can place a $25 deposit today to guarantee season tickets for the 2024 football season. This deposit is for new season ticket holders only. Current season ticket holders will receive their renewal form in early February. Game times for the 2024 season are still TBD.
