@EKUFootball Game Day: Colonels Depart for No. 24 Central Arkansas

CONWAY, Ark. – EKU football returns to action this weekend as the Colonels head to Conway to face No. 24 Central Arkansas on Saturday.

Kickoff is slated for 5:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+ with Dylan McLemore serving as the play-by-play announcer, Wess Moore as the analyst, and Dorian Craft as the sideline reporter. 

A live radio broadcast will also be available in the Richmond area on WCYO 100.7 FM, Greg Stotelmyer and Wes Chandler will be on call.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
-  EKU leads the all-time series 3-1.

-  The Colonels are seeking their second win over a ranked FCS program this season.

-  EKU has won its last two meetings over UCA, including a 42-14 win over the Bears last year in Richmond. 
 
THE COLONELS
-  EKU is looking to bounce back from a 33-30 overtime loss to No. 17 Austin Peay last weekend.

-  Quarterback Parker McKinney has thrown for 320+ yards and three touchdowns in each of his last two games.
 
-  Wide Out Mo Edwards Jr. resides in the top 25 in the FCS in yards per reception at 17.75 per catch.
 
-  Linebacker Logan Blake continues to turn heads on defense, leading the United Athletic Conference and third in NCAA FCS football with 114 tackles on the season. He is a three-time UAC Defensive Player of the Week and one-time FCS National Defensive Player of the Week.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  The Bears are coming off a 27-14 win over North Alabama on the road last Saturday. Entering play this weekend, APSU leads the UAC with a 4-0 record while EKU and UAC are tied at 3-1.

-  Quarterback Will McElvain led the Bears completing 22-of-33 passes for 248 yards and one touchdown. He was sacked four times last game. 

-  Receiver Jarrod Barnes caught 113 worth of McElvain's 248 yards and the lone receiving TD of the game.

-  On the flip side of the field, outside linebacker Jake Golday led UCA with 11 tackles and one sack for 10 yards last time out.
