RICHMOND, Ky. – Offensive lineman Josiah Ezirim and linebacker Logan Blake earned their fourth and second All-American recognition of 2023 respectively on Tuesday as the pair of Colonels were named to the 2023 Stats Perform FCS All American Team, presented by FedEx Ground as announced in a press release.
 
Ezirim, earned second team recognition as the NFL Draft prospect started every game in 2023 for EKU, as the Colonels posted the best offensive numbers in yards per game in the United Athletic Conference with 437.4 yards per game and 37 total touchdowns.
 
He also earns the distinction as the only offensive lineman from the UAC to be named as an All-American by the publication.
 
Making the third team on defense, Logan Blake put together a standout season at EKU leading the conference in tackles with 132, the fourth most in all of FCS Football for the season while adding 10.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions.
 
The pair of Colonels join seven other UAC student-athletes on the All-American Team by Stats Perform.
