TROY, Ala. – Eastern Kentucky University will face Troy for the second time this season when the Colonels travel to face the Trojans on Thursday.

THE COLONELS
-  EKU (4-6) cut a 14-point second half deficit to one but lost at home to Northern Kentucky on Sunday.
 
-  Isaiah Cozart put together his 11th career double-double against NKU, finishing with 24 points and 13 rebounds.
 
-  Devontae Blanton is now 22nd on EKU's all-time scoring list with 1,229 points.
 
-  In his last three games, John Ukomadu is averaging 13 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.  During that span, he has made 75 percent of his shots from the field.
 
-  The Colonels pulled down 17 offensive rebounds against NKU and out-rebounded the Norse by seven.  EKU is fourth in the country with 17 offensive rebounds per game.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  Troy sits at 5-6 overall.  The Trojans suffered a 74-53 loss at Ole Miss on Tuesday.  Troy is 5-1 at home this season.   
 
- Tayton Conerway led Troy with 13 points against Ole Miss.  He hit 3-of-3 from 3-point range.  Chrisyton Eugene hit three 3-pointers and had nine points, but turned the ball over eight times.
 
-  Eugene leads the team in scoring (15.4 ppg) and assists (3.9 apg), and is second in rebounding (5.0 rpg).  He is shooting 51 percent from the field and 47 percent from 3-point range (23-of-49).  Conerway is averaging 11 points per game.
 
-  Troy is 29th in the nation in rebound margin (+8.8).  The Trojans out-rebounded Ole Miss 33-32.
 
-  The Trojans rank 90th in the nation in 3-point shooting percentage (35.8 percent).  Troy made 13-of-28 (46 percent) from long range in the first meeting this season with EKU.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
-  EKU leads the all-time series 1-0 after winning the first-ever meeting between these two programs on Nov. 27 in Richmond.
 
-  Cozart recorded the first triple-double in program history as EKU beat Troy, 77-76, earlier this season at Baptist Health Arena.  Cozart finished with 10 points, 13 rebounds and 11 blocks.  Eugene scored Troy's final 11 points and finished with a game-best 23.
