CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The EKU women's tennis team (1-6) falls to UT Chattanooga (4-1) by a score of 6-1 on Friday morning at the Strang-Voges Tennis Center.
To begin the dual match,
Elena Tairian and
Sasha Parkhomenko won their doubles match from the No. 2 spot, 6-4, but the Mocs took the other two doubles courts to enter singles with a one-point advantage.
Parkhomenko also won her singles match in three sets from the No. 5 position, 3-6, 6-3, 6-1. However, EKU lost the other five singles matches to clinch the match for the Mocs.
