- EKU leads the all-time series 2-0. The Colonels won the first meeting between the two programs, 80-67, on Nov. 25, 2020 in Raleigh, North Carolina. In its first season in the ASUN, EKU picked up a 67-58 victory at home on Jan. 22, 2022.Â

-Â In last year's game, EKU held North Florida scoreless for nearly six minutes and scored 19 straight points in a first-half run that sparked the Colonels to the win.Â

THE COLONELS
- EKU (18-11, 11-5 ASUN) dropped into a third place tie with Stetson after falling in overtime, 98-93, to North Alabama on Saturday. The Colonels hold the tiebreaker over the Hatters by virtue of their 85-70 win earlier in the season.

-Â EKU is third in the ASUN in field goal percentage defense (42.7 percent) and 3-point field goal percentage defense (33.3 percent).

Isaiah Cozart now leads the league in rebounding (7.0 rpg) and blocks (2.38 bpg). He had 12 points, seven rebounds and three blocks against UNA.

Michael Moreno has registered double-doubles in each of the last two games. He had 13 points and 10 rebounds against Central Arkansas. The junior finished with 16 points and 11 boards against North Alabama. He also has seven assists and no turnovers in the last two games.

-Â Blanton scored a season-high 27 points on Saturday and has scored 20 or more in six of the last seven games.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
-  North Florida sits at 12-16 overall and 7-9 in ASUN games. The Ospreys are tied for eighth in the conference. UNF split a road trip to Tennessee last week, beating Lipscomb 114-111 in two overtimes before falling 73-71 at Austin Peay.  Â

- The Ospreys are fourth in the ASUN in scoring at 76.18 points per game. UNF has allowed 78.5 points per game, the second most in the league.

-Â North Florida has allowed opponents to shoot 46 percent from the field, 12th in the ASUN.

- Carter Hendricksen leads the team in scoring (16.3 ppg) and rebounding (6.3 rpg). He is sixth in the conference in scoring and sixth in field goal percentage (44.1 percent).

- Jose Placer had 32 points in the double overtime victory at Lipscomb. Hendricksen had a game-high 21 points in the loss at Austin Peay.
