- The Colonels are 2-1 all-time against Jacksonville. The first meeting came on Dec. 7, 2016 with EKU picking up an 80-76 win in Jacksonville. In the first ASUN meeting between the two squads, the Dolphins earned an 81-68 victory on their home court on Feb. 9, 2022.Â

- In last year's meeting, the Colonels cut a 13-point halftime deficit to six midway through the second half but Jacksonville put an end to the comeback bid by answering with a 9-0 run. Gyasi Powell's lay-up with 8:05 to play made it a 15-point game, 65-50.Â
