Baseball Falls At No. 4 Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University lost 11-0 at No. 4 ranked Louisville on Tuesday.
 
The Cardinals (7-1) got a solo home run from Patrick Forbes in the second inning.  A three-run dinger off the bat of Jack Payton in the third to made it 4-0.  Forbes hit a second homer, this time a two-run shot, in the fourth to push the home team out in front 6-0.
 
Three players – Charlie Ludwick, Miguel Larreal and Jalen Jones – had one hit each for the Colonels (4-5).
 
Forbes finished 2-for-2 with a walk, three runs and three RBIs.
 
EKU will play a three-game series at Western Carolina this weekend.  The series opener is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Friday.
