RICHMOND, Ky. – Masha Fedenko won her third consecutive singles match, but the EKU women's tennis team (4-10, 0-1 ASUN) fell to Lipscomb (5-7, 1-0 ASUN) by a score of 5-2 at the Greg Adams Tennis Center on Sunday.
To begin the dual match, the Bisons won two doubles matches to claim the doubles point.
In singles play,
Sasha Parkhomenko her singles match in straight sets from the No. 3 spot, 6-3, 7-5.
Fedenko won her singles match in a three-set thriller against Lipscomb's No. 1 Sasha Dobranos, 7-6 (7-4), 2-6, 6-4. With Fedenko's win, Dobranos lost her first completed singles match of the season.
However, the Bisons won four singles matches to clinch the match for Lipscomb.
