RICHMOND, Ky. – The EKU women's tennis team (5-16, 1-5 ASUN) dropped their final regular season home match against Liberty (14-7, 5-1 ASUN) by a score of 6-1 at the Greg Adams Tennis Center on Sunday.
 
To begin the dual match, 
Emmeline Polevoi and 
Sasha Parkhomenko won their second consecutive doubles match from the No. 2 court, 6-2. However, the Flames won the other two courts to enter singles play with a one-point advantage.
 
In singles, Parkhomenko continued her stellar performance, winning her match in a three-set thriller from the No. 2 spot, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5.
 
Grace Boyer played in her first singles match of the season from the No. 6 position.
 
However, the Flames won five singles matches to clinch the match for Liberty.
