RICHMOND, Ky. – EKU soccer (0-2) continues its home stand against an old conference foe in Belmont (1-1) on Thursday, August 24 at the EKU Soccer Field.
Thursday's match is scheduled to kick off at 11:30 a.m. to combat the projected heat index in the local area. Admission to the match is free and fans are encouraged to bring their personal hydration/cooling devices to the pitch.
Fans not able to attend can view the contest on ESPN+ with Greg Stotelmyer on the call.
EKU looks to get in the win column on Thursday after suffering losses to Kentucky (1-0) and Western Michigan (2-1) to begin the 2023 season.

Gunn's assist in the 87th minute last match marked the ninth career assist for the West Chester, Ohio native, tying the EKU career assist mark set by Jordan Foster in 2017.
Through two matches, EKU has struck seven of its 10 shot attempts on target which leads the ASUN Conference and ranks 16th nationally.
The visiting Belmont Bruins enter play on Thursday with a 1-1 mark, with its win coming against ASUN foe North Alabama by a score of 1-0 in the season opener. Belmont most recently took a loss to Middle Tennessee in a decisive 3-1 score on the road.
Thursday's match is the first meeting between Belmont and EKU outside of conference play dating back to 2012. The Colonels have claimed four of the last five meetings between the two schools to lead the all-time series 4-2-3.
