COLUMBIA, Mo. – Rylea Marcum tied for 10th overall while leading Eastern Kentucky University to a sixth place finish at Missouri's Johnie Imes Invitational, which concluded on Wednesday.

The Colonels shot rounds of 296, 294 and 299 for a 54-hole total of 889. EKU was four shots in front of seventh place Howard and 15 shots away from a top-5 performance. The team's second round 294 tied for its lowest round this season.

Lipscomb (860) edged Missouri (862) by two shots to capture the team title. Florida International (870) was third.

The 13 teams competed over three days on the par 72, 6,264-yard course at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Missouri.

Marcum turned in rounds of 73, 1-under 71 and 73 for a three-round total of 217 (+1). She was just three shots away from a top-5 finish. On the final 13 holes of the final round, Marcum made 12 pars and one birdie.

Alice Daag (223) tied for 29th.Â
Mattie Jo Neeley (225) carded a final round 1-over 73 to move into a tie for 35th.Â
Elisa Orduna Shackleton (229) tied for 46th and
Dili Sitanonth (238) finished tied for 64th.

Next up for the Colonels is a trip to Las Cruces, New Mexico for the Iconic Classic hosted by New Mexico State on Oct. 9-11.
