PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – The EKU men's golf team is scheduled to begin the Golfweek Fall Challenge on Sunday morning at the True Blue Golf Course, its second tournament of the fall season.
 
EKU enters play as runner-ups its last time out in the Colonel Shootout where the team posted an 848 (+4) team score over the 54-hole tournament.
 
Fans looking to follow this week's golf action can find live scoring and regular updates on Golfstat. Sunday's tournament will play par-72 at 6,988 yards with 18 holes per round over three days.
 
EKU head coach Justin Tereshko submitted a lineup consisting of Pablo Carrascosa Vivas, Justin Begley, Joe Benton, Kannon Tucker, and Zach Watterson. 
 
Benton earns a starting nod just days after being named the ASUN Men's Golfer of the Week for the first time in his career. The Irvine, Ky. product led all Colonel performers with 207 (-3) and tied for third place – the highest finish of his career.
 
The Colonels are scheduled to tee off from 8:30-9:06 a.m. ET on the front nine paired with Arkansas State and Washington State.
 
Other participants in the Golfweek Fall Challenge include Arkansas State, Charleston Southern, Coastal Carolina, Jacksonville, Jacksonville State, Loyola Marymount, New Orleans, Presbyterian, Richmond, Stephen F. Austin, Washington State, Western Carolina, and Wright State.
