FARMINGTON, Pa. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's golf team finished tied for 13
th at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational hosted by West Virginia on Tuesday.
As a team, the Colonels shot 881 (+17) for the 54-hole tournament.
Zach Watterson had the team's best performance, finishing 31
st individually with 217 (+1) total strokes.
He had a team-best round in the opening 18 holes, carding a 67 (-5) with six birdies and an eagle.
In the final two rounds, Watterson shot 76 (+4) and 74 (+2).
Anders Larson finished tied for 51
st with 221 shots (+5), one stroke ahead of
Justin Begley and
Jackson Finney, who finished tied for 57
th with 222 strokes (+6).
Hristo Yanakiev finished the tournament with 228 strokes (+12).
In the Shepherd's Rock Individual,
Jameson Corbin finished tied for 11
th at five-over (221).
