Walker scored six points to open the second half, which sparked a 9-2 Colonel run entering the final minute of the third quarter. A Crittendon made three would conclude the third quarter with an 11-point, 49-38 EKU lead.
Five points from Crittendon, a three from Turner, and made layups from
Kaitlyn Costner would push EKU to its largest lead of the game to 16 with just 2:45 left in regulation. UNA would close the gap to seven points off call from the officiating crew, but EKU would hold on to secure its third consecutive conference win, 67-58.
